Memory Card doesn't fit in the camera.

Just a heads up for anybody else who packs their camera bag after enjoying their Friday evening.

I can confirm (no matter how much you curse or want them to) that neither Nintendo DS Cooking Mama or Alvin and the Chipmunks are compatible with the Canon 1D Mk4

Moral of this story is always carry a spare card...........and a spare battery.........and a spare flash........and a spare strap.....and............

Much the same way that a card for a D700 won't fit in an X-T1. However the card for an X-T1 WILL fit in a D700 but will rattle around in the slot rather than making the required contacts...

Hope a suitable card was found for the 1D.

I have go on holidays and realised left the cards in the compact at home.. aiport shpps are handy.

I understand there is a firmware update to fix it. So that they will fit in. Then in future you won't miss out on Alvin.
