Anyone remember the "scandal" surrounding Janet Ellis' baby from Blue Peter? She wasn't married! Shock!
What became of the baby? Sophie Ellis Bexter, of course. :)

I also remember the ratings for Blue Peter rocketing through the roof when Caron Keating joined the show. Nothing to do with D.O.M. watching because she wore short skirts, eh?

Those of us who were in our 20s in the early 80s started watching Blue Peter again when Sarah Greene and her rah rah skirt joined the show! :love:

I definitely remember getting 3rd-pint bottles of milk with a straw to poke through the top...but they were vile if not cold :gag:
