Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows of a firm that could do this for me?

Basically I'm coming up on my 20 year anniversary with her indoors and I was thinking I might have the negs digitised and then I can think about some wall art as a present for her :-)

Anyway, anyone know of a recommended way to do this or firm to have it done at?

How many negatives, what size medium format (6x7?), are you willing to post or are you looking for somewhere local? Any firm budget restrictions?

That should help narrow it down.

Get a bit of opaque white plastic and a bright backlight (a sunny day) and some extension tubes for your canon and you could potentially do it that way?

Hi, I don't have a measure right to hand but it looks more like 6 x 4.5 to me. I don't mind posting though would prefer local, as for budget I have no idea how much it would be :-/

I have extension tubes already so might look into the feasability of this, but cant imagine it could be comparable to proper scanning surely?

IQ would probably be ok, faff factor compared to paying some one would be off the scale!

any idea what film type it was shot on... have look at the edges of the frame and post whatever it says - depending on what the film type is, it could be a dead easy scan job, that perhaps one of the regulars in here could run off for you ??

Just had a check and it says Fuji SGH100, did a google but all i can find is someone else that was trying to find out about it too, looks like it may be 120 film?

Re-reading your first post, are they wedding photos?

If so, I'd get the best ones drum scanned properly once and for all.

As for "Fuji SGH100", is that "Fuji SHG100"? I've got a roll of colour film called Fuji Super HG Plus, so it was probably part of that line of emulsions.
