Mcartney / Mills divorce

I don't really care, it doesn't affect me therefore I don't care, however I actually read the judgement this morning, and she's mental :cuckoo:

She wanted £30,000 p.a for equestrian activites and £39,000 p.a for wine. Extravagent? Even more so when she no longer rides, nor drinks alcohol :bonk:

I just don't understand WHY this is news........

If you analyse the distribution of the audience you will notice that quite a high % are obsessed with celebrity gossip. Typically these are women.

It's a big business, hence why OK, Hello, Closer, Womens Own, and all the other celebrity obsessed magazines completely dwarf the sales of any other type of magazine.

Don't blame the industry. It's only responding to the requirement of the audience.

Here's my 2p worth:thumbs:

She entered into it with this in mind all along, what did she contribute to the marriage? he had his wealth before he met her:thumbs: she's a loser with a lot of money :woot:

I'm sorry but the magazines you quote don't dwarf the sales of any other type of magazine. It's simply not true to say that. I guess what I'm saying is it depresses me to think this counts as worthy of any interest whatsoever. So i will stop commenting on it NOW.:bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:

Well it feels like they do. Probably the most popular magazine is FHM strangely enough, but I'm sure in total all those type of gossip mags will have the largest number of readers.

Whilst I mention magazines, celebrity news will sell newspapers. Look at The Sun. Don't buy it though. But you will notice at any opportunity they will try to stick 'exclusive' celebrity news on the front cover.Obviously it works a treat, otherwise they wouldn't do it.

OK! Sells over double the amount of FHM - its scary :p

Take a look at http://www.abc.org.uk/cgi-bin/gen5 - The womens interests mags at way in the majority.
