Anyone use rechargeables in the above grip? standard Duracell alkaline's are ok for a little while then drop off to 6 fps from 8 quite quickly. Duracell rechargeables seem to get mixed reviews, Energisers appear well liked, any other ideas?? are the Eneloops @ 2000 mAh ok for the purpose as most other mfrs AA power ratings go up to and beyond 2700 mAh  Also Eneloops etc are 1.2 volt whereas alkaline are 1.5 volt

Not really sure what I need here so advice welcome

I use Eneloops in my grips and flashguns with great results.

Stick with the 2000mAh ones, they last longer and do not worry about the voltage differences. These are quoted offload and will even out quickly when you draw a current.

Like Oggy I use Eneloops in my MB-D10 (use them in the MB-D80 too). Have also gotten good results with the 7day shop equivalents.

Hope that helps :)

Thanks for your advice, 8 x 2000 mAh Eneloops ordered up and on their way
