when i resize images to post, i make the longest side 800, then when i post the pictures they look pretty small

It should look bigger than that I grant you...

According to PS - that image is 240x134px / 10"x5.583" @24dpi

Check your image sizes settings as they may be off - or the hosting site you're using may be downsizing them automatically...

I save mine at 800px or 8" along the long side at 100dpi
 
Think its because you are using the medium size from your flickr, if you original is 800 then use the original large size
 
But that is the size of the picture you are linking to... :thinking: ... are you using pixels for your 800... :shrug:

it is the picture im linking it too, what im doing is resizing the picture on flikr, then i copy it to here..... i think it could be the pixels im changing to 800... it take it this is my problem....

yes you do want to resize to 800px does it look bigger on your flickr
 
it does look bigger on flikr, its the same size as pictures iv not resized
 
its because your getting the code fron the small size and you need to use the large size code above your photo youll see all sizes click that and copy the large code

then a giant steak in 1975 at the actual hotel
my inlaws stayed there in 1975
been past it lately on the low road to the peel
