Having been off work ill for a fortnight, and basically under house arrest, I have really appreciated my membership here, and all the great threads and images.

I know some threads create heated debate, but ultimately the disagreement is kept within thread and the overall forum atmosphere remains a great place to be. This is, of course, due in the main because of great members and staff / mods with thier heads screwed on right.

So...thanks one and all for keeping me away from the perils of daytime television!!!

Have to say that I completely agree with Ruth's sentiments having been in a similar predicament. Had it not been for this place and a couple of the members who trekked down this way and were good enough to drag me out for a few days after my op (and resulting pneumonia!), I would have gone absolutely sane.

BTW, nowt wrong with daytime TV - Countdown rules!
