I need to transpose this formula using logarithms to make t the subject

It might be:

t= -T(ln(1-v/V))

but it's over 20 years since I did A level maths, so it might not.

Incidentally, who set the problem using the same letters in both upper and lower case? When you're writing equations by hand v and V look very similar

Not bad for 20 years. That's the same result as my wife got although she's half asleep after marking 30 books

all sorted today , rearranged formula is spot on thanks
