Yes
my wife is currently pregnant and ready to drop so i end up giving her a back massage every night we normal use baby powder but we have both been getting bad throats in a morning we believe it is this when i don't give her a massage we both feel better in a morning

we used oil's before but can't get on with them my hands feel rough and she has to go get a shower because she feels sticky with the oil, including durex normal and the sensitive type for use all over :p but not worked

we found the baby powder best thing lasts a long time with out feel like your hands can't glide across

any one got any advice for a nice oil or something that can be used with out having to jump in shower she finding it harder now to get in and out of the bath

what about a normal moisturiser? will be worked into the skin so should be no need for a shower, should also have same benefit as an oil to allow your hands to glide over the skin.

Available in more scents than you care to mention too :D

Cocoa butter does the trick, although she will smell like a milky bar afterwards so go easy on her after the cream's been applied wink wink!

How about some Vitamin E oil or even Bio oil? Both are supposed to help keep stretch marks and other scarring down - worked on my head!

If the baby powder is working for the both of you....why are you looking to change?

I am guessing the bad throats?

Have you tried proper massage oils rather than the baby oil type stuff? They tend to absorb into the skin better than your common or garden Johnsons, but they just do it slowly allowing time for the actual massage. Also, see if you can get anold towelling bathrobe to stick on for half an hour afterwards, absorbs any excess without worrying about clothes, bedding etc

Another vote for the Cocoa butter:thumbs:

I am guessing now after YV knows so much about it all, that the Geza must have soft hands :naughty::naughty:

Ive read somwhere that oil is absorbed into the bloodstream so wonder how that could affect a baby in the womb. Perhaps someone in the medical proffession can advise you if its safe.

Hi,
As has been mentioned the oil will be absorbed into the skin, so a high Quality oil is needed.
Look for organic massage oil, which is the best. Try grapeseed oil which is easily absorbed and not too greasy. A great company to buy from is Kobashi.com.

Sorry, missed the throat thing. :(
