Marrex MX-G10M GPS, Canon Owners Group

Hi there,
Just like to start up a group for this little Gps unit, mostly to find out if anyone else has had any experience with one. I have just received my new unit from DigitalRev, havn't had time yet to take it out for a play, but had a fiddle with the controls to familiarise myself with the unit, charged it up fully, discharged it while using it for testing.
Battery seems to last for about 6-7 hrs between charges, and it seems like the unit gets quite warm off and on charge(i.e. not hot, but above body temperature), whilst in use.
Seems quite a solidly built little unit, and on my 7D, you can control and set-up everything on the camera LCD screen.
So, has anyone else got one of these little units, or is interested in Gps?

Hello,
I just purchased the Marrex MX-G10M for my Canon Rebel 6Ti. It is actually the 3rd attempt at the unit. Company I purchased it from says it is compatible, but I've not been able to get it to work with my Rebel 6Ti. Has anyone been able to get it to work with the 6Ti? Also, in addition I'm trying to connect the unit to my home computer. Home computer is running Windows 10 64 Bit. Again no luck. I get "Unknown USB Device (Invalid Device Descriptor)" in my device manger window. I can't seem to find anything on the web.

I'm very frustrated and ready to return this unit as well and just use my smart phone and apps to Geo Tag my Pictures. Does anyone have any suggestions or help for this unit.
