MarmiteGate

Not sure Mrs Nod would let me smear Marmite all over her...

The voice of experience? ;)
I just find it doesn't "cling" and tear the bread like Marmite does, especially if its fresh bread

That's your story, and you're sticking to it. :sneaky:

Crunchy for me. Meridian for preference - no palm oil. To ring the changes, we also have cashew and almond butter in the cupboard. All from Sainsbury's rather than Tesco!

Forget MarmiteGate, at Ikea in Reading this evening there was MeatballGate. Far more serious.

wake up call for all those posh ponces that don't know where there food comes from they voted out so they could get rid of the pole on the corner here is the result.

Right...of course it is. o_O

Is there somewhere we can vote for the most stupid post ever? Just asking....

I'm confused, are you saying all the people who voted out are posh?

Not a poll (pole? :D ) per se but we, the staff, print them and pin them to the back of the toilet door, for when we need a good chuckle

More and more manufacturers will be looking at their reduced margins and higher costs as a result of the nose diving pound. Not just food but clothing, household items, fuel is already going up.

In this instance luckily neither Unilever or Tesco wanted to pass the cost to the consumer (not yet anyway) and they ended up bickering over who was going to absorb the cost. However companies have obligations to keep the best interests of their stock holders (and their staff getting paid) so don't expect a permanent reprieve on price rises.
