Marmite on a thick piece of cheese, as well as toast and normal "butties".

Carl.

I have said Yes but i prefer Yeast Extract from the supermarket own brand than actual Marmite itself.

YES, on toast and under bolognese sauce (i don't like pasta u see)

Oh and i like it on hot cross buns with a slice of cheese and a spreading of Primula cheese spread

It's yummy - pay no attention to these phillistines...

Ok I am possibly wierd, but try Marmite on Toast with melted cheese on top.

Me and the girlfriend love that receipe....

Put the cheese on the bread, thinly spread marmite on top of the cheese... then pour Heinz beanz on top...phwoarrrrrr...

Survived on beans on cheese on toast for 11 months when I was at college - if you use wholemeal bread it contains all the necessary nutrients a body needs...
except beer and you buy that seperately...

That ain't wierd m8 ... that's retarded ...

Try (brown bread or toast) spread generously with marmite, followed by lemon curd topped with a healthy spread of philly and finally topped off with crunchy peanut butter ...

With all this nutritional value you probably don't even need Rob's beer ... as if ...

:p

I can see this turning into a Marmite recipes thread :D

Hands up all those who cant resist licking the excess Marmite off the knife after spreading it

I've never try it?

Here in México doesn't exists or I've never hear about it.

When you come over to London, find a Supermarket and buy yourself a jar.
I suggest having a drink of ice cold lemonade or similar on standby for when you try it. (I speak as someone who ticked 'Hate it' in the poll)

Oh, also be nice if you could pass your camera to someone else to record your expression for us, as you taste it for the first time ...... & the contents of your stomach hit your mouth!

I like it but can't remember whenI last had it

Oops! Just realised what that sounds like - it's marmite we're talking about right?!

Option 3, can honestly say ive never tried it... call it fear of the unknown if you like.

I really cannot believe there are that many delusional people on this forum that actually like Marmite. I might have to search for a new home... :(

Yes, i'll eat it sometimes on hot buttered toast. But other times i wouldnt be able to, depends if im in the mood for it. Seems to burn the top of my mouth, anyone else feel that?

£10 on option 3 winning ;)

Lol, i went for option 3. I'm very predictable though :D

Love it! I can't understand how anyone can not like it! When I was a kid my favourite snack was marmite sandwiches and a glass of milk. Now, when I'm ill or feeling a bit low, I'ts always there for me! Comfort food at it's best!

Marmite is God :notworthy:

A slight twist, but who's a fan of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches?

/raises hand! :D

(For the UKers, you can have peanut butter and jam :D....Jelly is just seedless jam...)

I lurve peanut butter, but the idea of it on bread makes me gag. I eat mine on crackers.
Also, my son loves chocolate spread ...mmmm ... now we're talking!
However since when did chocolate go with bread, yuk!!! :gag:

I love it on Toast....

A reminder what it looks like......

In America it is a staple of a childs diet. I agree that it should be cruncy peanutbutter. Although that is much harder to spread. You need a big glass of milk with it.
