Yes, on toast with lots of butter so the two kinda melt together. Yum!
 
Yes please - just plain on wholemeal bread, no butter!!!
 
Never tried it on toast or anything, but I use it in gravies all the time.

I also like Bovril / Oxo / Marmite drinks :D

...Though I did used to like like Bovril ... maybe its time to put both on the shopping list & see.

Actually Marcel, was coming back from Stroud this aftie, was bitterly cold and out of the blue, I thought 'Ooh I could murder a cup of Bovril' :shrug:

Sandwich (toasted or not !) ... buttered lightly on one side and just thickly marmited on the other ... lemon curd on the marmite followed by a generous covering of finely sliced banana ... place the buttered slice on top of the banana ... and tuck in ...

Marmite is made up from all the crap left over from making beerand if it ain't good enough to go in my beer it ain't good enough to go in my belly.

Mmmm...Yummy... and a recently introduced variation (by a Royal Navy Wren Writer who is a bizarre slut-let at the best of times anyway...) Marmite with Marmalade on buttered toast.
Sounds horrific, but is actually kind of sweet 'n' sour-ish

Love it!! I get all panicky if I dont have any in the house ;)

The other morning on my way to work I was in the sandwhich shop waiting for my coffe when a very pale looking girl staggers in waving some toast, with a big bite out of it, at the staff and shouted "I said said marmalade not marmite!" then started retching loudly in the shop.

Made me laugh :lol:
 
I hate marmite :gag: but for some reason really like marmite walkers!
