I name this a bad day with COD, hope you like and maybe even relate to it. Incidentally i didnt really do this bad i staged it specifically for the pic though the controller was already broken.

COD? Call of Duty? Im not a gamer but think i've heard guys at work talking about this game.

It's to much photoshop imagery for my personal tastes if im honest... the controller image looks oversharpened.

Good first effort though... are you gonna try and catch up with the previous weeks?

Hi thanks for the comments . You're right that cod is call of duty you're also right that I over sharpened the controller, I also over saturated it but that was deliberate to make it and out from the monochrome background as its black. Im not sure I'm gonna try and catch up if I'm honest as I'm 22 weeks behind but I will definately try and keep up from now on

It comes across as more graphic design than photography for me, but it's a good idea for the theme.

As for catching up, go on, you've several days before next week is posted, you've time to do a couple more this week.

I like the idea of this, great for the theme, although the controller is a little too far pushed into the corner but that's a minor thing. Well done on your first attempt.

sorry it took a while but here are 2 entries for bright, I couldnt decide which to go for so im posting both both are on the same kind of wavelength though, hope you like em......

1 obvious pp, though did raise saturation very slightly on the cube

2 no pp on this one at all

Here is my entry for rescue, i saw this poor wreck on the way home from work today, luckily my mum was driving so i was able to quickly grab my camera and take a quick snap, goodness knows what settings i used it :lol:

. Bit of a guilty pleasure in this one as im pretty happy with the photo but i really dont want to think about what happened to the poor sod who was driving

Hi, don't tell me your daughter can do the Rubix Cube??

Anyway, #1 the central compositions detracts (too much space for me), portrait may help. You've also lost the top of her head.

#2, again portrait may have helped, but it's a nice idea. I think I'd like to have seen this from the front with just your daughter's eyes peeping over the book.

Rescue, I'm not really seeing rescue here, just havoc.

Hi and thanks for the comments my daughter although only two and a half is a whizz at the rubiks cube she takes after her far as I can do it in under 1min 20 normally I red agree with almost every point you made and in my rescue pic I tried to get it with the police car in but we went by too fast and this was the best I could do I'm afraid I was also.annoyed at myself.for cropping top of my daughters head but again. It was the best of the bunch and she'll only pose for.me for so long. The only think I didn't agree with was changing the angle of her reading the book from behind I tried it and you wouldn't be able to see what she was reading and the fact that its technical data would have been lost

Hi, Mark, it's all about learning and trust me, I still make fundamental mistakes.

We may be at cross purposes in relation to the highlighted area above. I was saying that if you lowered your position slightly, but still from the front, it may help. It may not as well, just an idea.

Hi and thanks for the encouragement and advice if I remember correctly I.think o.had a.pic.from a lower angle but chose this one *** her face looks to me like she is actually reading it out loud and.taking it all in anyway I'm.still not.sure.what to do.for this week yet
