Marine Photographer Rich Page.

Hi Rich and welcome to the forums :)

I really like the site! It looks professional and clean yet not clinical. The images are outstanding! I'd love to take shots like that.

One thing i would say however, it looks like the site is designed to fit screen of resolution 1024*768. I dont know how much of a pain the rear this would be, but I believe fitting to 1280*1024 would be better. It would also make the enlarged images a little bigger, this I believe would give them more impact when viewed. The thumbs are just right though.

Overall, a very well made site.

Having been a blue water yachtsman myself, in the past, I know just how difficult such photography must be:eek:

I wouldnt! you are sailing close to the wind (see what I did there) making it 1024x768, its amazing how many people in the world still run on 800x600 :| Plus any bigger images and you run the risk of people printing them off.......good site in my opinion! looks very nice and works a treat :)

Hi Richard and welcome, love the shot on the first page, and the chopper shot over the light house is great, as regards the res issue, i use 600x800 (bad eyes)

I was on the island at all times. I forget the name of the place, but it was a spot where most people were watching from about a half mile west of cowes town center. Wish I could have gotten out on the water though! Only went at the last minute as well as my mate lives on the island told me about it and I stayed with him for a few days. was awsome. Would love to do more shots of boat races... Its just having the opportunities really.
