Manual 50mm macro lenses?

I'll give the Sigma a chance but if I need to replace it there's lots of good ideas here :D
 
ah, I need an aperture ring so I can use it on my A7 and MFT cameras.
 
Lenses without aperture rings tend not to be very nice to use for manual focusing even if you could find an adapter that can adjust it. They are generally all plastic and any MF ring they may have is more of an after thought. Odd for a macro lens, as AF is terrible especially for 1:1 even with the highest end macro lens. This is why old fully mechanical manual focus macro lenses still hold better prices over say old MF primes [in general, barring more exotic models] being fully manual is an advantage over modern AF macro lenses IMO
