This is actually a decent tripod for a very good price, Manfrotto are a well known and well respected brand - better than the cheapo £11 tripod 7dayshop have, well worth the extra £20.

seems to be £20 cheaper than amazon, jessops and everywhere else it could be found.

I actually just bought one of these, paid 50 quid from Warehouse Express. They're great tripods though struggles with a 400D with bat grip when trying to shoot portrait shots. Extremely light weight and collapses down small, I pack it on top of my gear in my Crumpler Daily XL. Bargain still there

I have it for my "Oh my god I can't be arsed carrying my own arse, let alone a tripod" moments. It takes a D3, and 24 to 70 - if you are careful

The head looks horrible - can it by replaced with a standard Manfrotto ballhead?
