Yes
I have seen this advertised in a mag as a good mid-range tripod. Does anyone have one or know what they are like. I have a tripod my dad gave me but I do not know the make and it is abit bulky and not too sturdy so looking for a new one but cannot afford a pro range one. This is apparenly £50 and I know Manfrotto is a good make.

Guessing no-one has one then?

Oh well will buy it and see what it's like.

Yeah I got one, fine as long as you not using any massive lenses...........lol

Nice and sturdy, and extremely light which really was the selling point for me as I do some long walks and cycle rides.

Dont expect it to be as heavily built or indeed as heavy as the 190 or 055 series though..

That's good then. The longest lens I have is the 55-200mm kit lens and i can't afford anymore any time soon  I just want a lightweight, sturdy tri-pod that does the job, nothing too fancy.

I have one, it is very light and very compact, it will hold th 55-200 with ease.

i find it an excellent carry-about tripod tbh. I have it with me whenever I go out with my backpack as it's so light and easy to setup. I've had a 40D + battery grip + 75-300 on there. It's not as sturdy as some other tripods, but light and that's just what I want when i'm halfway up a mountain :)

Bought one of these from jessops today, taking it back tomorrow, meant for use with compacts, couldnt take the weight of my 40D + 17-85mm lens, Head not strong enough, head slips if im trying to take shots with the camera pointing downwards, legs not very sturdy either, they bend a bit while positioning the tripod.

Gonna get myself one of these instead:
