I've been looking at the specs of this backpack, not for carrying a drone, but for a Large Format film kit.
I presently use a Tamrac Expedition 5 which works , but just!
I can get all the kit into/ or onto it but the weight takes the sack upto and probably over its limit tbh.
The sack is practically bombproof and is showing no signs of stress on the straps etc but a larger, more appropriate sack would be beneficial, not least of all it will enable me to carry additional darkslides, lenses or sarnies!!!
I've viewed other large bags, both discontinued lines and new offerings but most simply don't look like they'll work for me ( except perhaps the Tamrac X9, ) as either the specs / design haven't been suitable or the prices have been ridiculously excesive.
So have any of you nice folk got / used the D1 and if so what sort of weight did you carry in it, how does it handle when walking over"rough" ground etc etc
