Looked at one as a chuck it on a bike job, cheap gets cheap, flimsy, ok for a compact I suppose.

MAXIMUM load just over a bag of sugar in weight, thats my camera body out.
 
I notice that you are using a Panasonic FZ100, for that it should be fine as it only weighs 1.19lbs including batteries. looks good to me and small, like they say the best tripod is the one that you take with you.....

ive got one of these tripods and i find it fine

very sturdy and well built aswell mate you wont be dissapointed
 
I was looking at these from Argos (same price). Anyone tried one with a gripped 7D? :thinking:
