That's not much under retail price for it at most places a quick google search has revealed..... Good spot though!

Have to agree here; I wanted it for my X100 but unless I was willing to use the shutter delay each time, the simple act of pressing the shutter button caused a vibration.

In the end I got the Calumet 7100 which is more stable and pretty much as portable.

lol, and I though I just overpaid for my non manfrotto non carbon one. looked at the pic - all is well. this one does look for compacts only.probably could use with my gh1 though whilst travelling.
