Hi all,

I'm off to Sorrento in a few weeks and then New York at the end of the year. I"m after a camera backpack that will house the following items,

D7000
50mm 1.8
Siggy 10-20mm
Nikon 50-200.
Ipad Mini.
Manfrotto PIXI or similar mini tripod (yet to be purchased)

Being that I'll be using daily, I'll need space for a couple of water bottles/suncream and other gubbins etc also.

I've looked at the Manfrotto Advanced Tri Backpack in the medium size. I wondered if any of you have experience of this bag or could recommend me another that will suit my requirements?

I'm not into a sling bag as I have both a degenerated disc and a herniated disc, so really need to spread the weight equally across the shoulders.

Ive owned one of those in the Medium and sent it straight back, didnt get on with it one bit as it just wouldnt sit on my shoulders and kept trying to slide off, i opted for one of these instead, bloody superb, ive got the 15L and 20L versions, the 20 would suit you better as it has a specific iPad/laptop compartment.

the Lowepro transit might suit also

An escaping backpack can't be good! Thanks for the advice. Apart it trying to jump off your back, what would it be like in terms for space for the kit listed above, in your opinion?
 
It wont leave you much if any room for bottles of water, lunch etc, etc, as for it slipping off, i tried it in the more secure X Mode but both straps rubbed too close to my neck, look at this pic, a days wearing like this and you would be left with open wounds its that bad

For the purposes of anyone looking at the Lowepro DSLR Fastpack 250 in the future... It's huge!

So huge that my D7000 felt like it was rattling around in the camera compartment like a pub blue in a bucket. I've sent it back and replaced it with a Lowepro Photo Hatch Back 22l in grey. Fantastic bit of kit. A bit smaller than the Fastpack but less rigid and feels less bulky. Lighter too which is a bonus. I'll be keeping this one.
