Manfrotto 410 Question

I'm just about to pull the trigger on buying one of these, but I'm not sure if it accepts the standard Manfrotto quick release plate. I have the std QR on everything I own, all my bodies and my telephoto's, I'd rather not have to change plates when I use this one head.

will my std QR plates work with this head ?

I have done exactly what Hoppy has suggested and it works very well. Keeps all my QR plates the same across my whole systems. Adds a little weight to the head but not enough to make it a problem.

Yes it will just bolt on to the QR plate of the 410. You end up with 2 QR plates on the head but it works OK
