Hello,
I'm after a small, lightweight tripod for video and photography use. It won't get used much, but will get carried far and wide when it does! I was wondering if anyone is using the Manfrotto 290 with a BeFree head with a DSLR? My camera is a Canon 60D and I normally have a Sigma 17-70mm or a Canon 50mm 1.8 - the Sigma is obviously the heavier lens, and the camera plus the lens comes in at about half what Manfrotto consider the maximum weight (4kg).
