I have borrowed with a view to buying a manfrotto 222 [Bogen3265] pistol grip ball head, version 8. The Manfrotto to be expected as a manfrotto quick release assembly on the top The problem i have is that all my plates, L brackets and my existing ball head are all Arca Swiss types.
Now this might seem simple problem to solve, but as a bit of a explanation. When you take off the top plate assembly there is a lug that fits into a recess of the top assembly plate. The arca plates that i have do not have a recess big enough to take the lug and fit correctly on top of the ball head
Does anyone out there know of a conversion kit that will convert to Arca swiss. that will fit. if you do please let me know.
