those are so much better - more detailed and vibrant than your usual camera Mandy..... especially the Orchid....![]()

Both very good shots indeed but the GIF is a cracker![]()
Both are brilliant shots. Well captured!![]()
Love the first shot Mandy - really nicely captured![]()
It's been far to long since I've had chance to call in and see how your getting on, I've got to say it looks like things are progressing well for you, the light tent stuff is certainly showing a lot of progress, as it the oil on waterthough by far and away my favourite photo is one of the last ones, that gull in flight is wonderful far better than any effort I've ever made at catching a bird in flight
Matt
Thank you Matt I am proper chuffed with that shot, I even posted it for crit in the relevant section. Along with a thread for some swan images I took to see how I improved from when I shot them for the first time last year. And yes it has been a while since you looked in but thanks for dropping by.
You know how it is, you tell yourself you must call in then it's 3am and you must really get into bed, and before you know it it's been days since you last visited![]()
but it's great to see improvement, shows your doing the right thing

Yes I know what you mean, I have been busy with this and that and not to mention a couple of ride outs on my bike. Has meant I haven't had time for a proper critique session. Which is on my to do list for later on now I am all up to date with stuff.

swan shot is lovely and mono works well![]()
Great rule of thirds comp, would have liked to see a bit more of the face but that's just personal preference. Good focus and detail.
I like the "less usual" aspect on the swan![]()
Nice one for St. Davids Day![]()
That B&W swan works really wellI like it a lot, I bet it felt fantastic to get your bike out
here's to many happy photo filled miles this year
