Daily Mandy's 365 Challenge started 17/11/13 Day 262 Added

Day 97 has great DOF and I like the composition and colour. Day 98 doesn't do anything me, but it's got great focus and detail in the leaf and I like the way you've isolated it with the black background.
 
those are so much better - more detailed and vibrant than your usual camera Mandy..... especially the Orchid.... :banana::exit:

Why thank you very much I have to say I have a soft spot for the Sony A77 just can't afford one. Now I better get my self organised as I have to get to the post office then my bike needs a really good clean. Time to get the hosepipe out, and just for the record I still love my 400D and 600D and it hopefully won't be long before I have 6D in my hands.
 
I went out today with both my cameras after i finished work, i had a nice walk and enjoyed the fresh air. I have now reached 100 days of my 365 challenge only 265 left to go and i have really enjoyed my self with the challenge so far, i just hope that i have improved somewhat and that the people that have been following my progress think so to. Both of these images were taken with my 600D and my Tamron 70-300 mm lens, I am not an expert in bird flight photography but out of my few attempts this i think is my best image to date.

It's been far to long since I've had chance to call in and see how your getting on, I've got to say it looks like things are progressing well for you, the light tent stuff is certainly showing a lot of progress, as it the oil on water :thumbs: though by far and away my favourite photo is one of the last ones, that gull in flight is wonderful far better than any effort I've ever made at catching a bird in flight :clap:

Thank you Matt I am proper chuffed with that shot, I even posted it for crit in the relevant section. Along with a thread for some swan images I took to see how I improved from when I shot them for the first time last year. And yes it has been a while since you looked in but thanks for dropping by.

You know how it is, you tell yourself you must call in then it's 3am and you must really get into bed, and before you know it it's been days since you last visited :( :eek: but it's great to see improvement, shows your doing the right thing :thumbs:

Yes I know what you mean, I have been busy with this and that and not to mention a couple of ride outs on my bike. Has meant I haven't had time for a proper critique session. Which is on my to do list for later on now I am all up to date with stuff.

Day 101 Lone swan.

I had a nice ride out this morning on my bike and when i got home, i thought i would get all the winter grime washed off the bike. So after a good hour or so spent washing and polishing every accessible part on my bike i thought it be rude not to take a photo for my challenge.

Nice last few shots Mandy - I like the colours you've captured for days 105 and 106 along with the DOF used :thumbs:
