Anyone watching this later?

Very nervous. Life-time United fan here. :bat:

I will be

Barcelona have always been my "second" team so to speak, always checked their results over the years

Come on Barca

Who's your first?

I'll be in a very fiercly Manchester United pub with a big group of mates. I'm not a United fan (I don't actually support anybody), but most of my mates are. Looking forward to it, it should be a good night, with hopefully a United win.

I'll be watching it and hope Utd win. I am a Blue but always want Trafford United to do well in Europe. Should be a great game but I have a feeling that Utd will win comfortably by a couple of goals. Too much power for Barca.

Slightly going off a bit can you imagine Xavi & Iniesta in the Utd midfield? That really would be some team.

BTW - congrats to Burnley.............another NW team in the Premier League  We have an office in Clitheroe which is next door to their Manager's house. What a nice man, and obviously a pretty good manager. Well deserved success.

Chris :)

Got the beers on ice already. Pizza delivery ready on speed dial.

All i gotta do now is finish working!!

You heard the rumours that Owen Coyle is off to Celtic, just 3 days after getting promotion with Burnley?

Owen Coyle would be foolish to give up the chance of managing in the Premiership, especially to go to a team like Celtic. Would be a big mistake in my opinion.

Ah well the best team wins.... I though Man U should of got a few goals in. I just wanted Man U to win as it England. But I aint a supporter thou I support a team you dont wanna know

The better team, by far, deservedly won :(

Man U were played off the park tonight... am I alone in thinking Ronaldo wanted to win on his own! Some of his decisions to shoot were poor.

Was a good game, Barcelona were superb, especially after the first goal went in. United didn't play well at all. I think the nerves got to some of the younger players as none of them turned up today. United are much better than what they showed today. They'll be back there next season for sure, a steep learning curve. But aye, all credit to Barcelona. To score an average of 3 goals a game all season is something special.

Newcastle United :( we will be back

I said that in the first half, seemed to think it was his time to show the world how good he was and failed

Barca were outstanding, watched them a fair bit this season and knew what they would give but it suprised me at how well they played to make Man United look average

There's always something satisfying about watching Man U lose but that was extra special :D

The best team won on the night (we were poor), but it's slightly annoying as they didn't deserve to get past Chelsea but now they'll be considered the best team in the world for beating us when we were the worst we've been all season.

No excuses, but you know it's gunna happen. "Barcelona beat you so they're better..."

No-one mentions us beating them in the semi-finals last year.

But yeah, taking nothing away from Barca -- they were the better team.

To be fair, having watched Barca alot this season there is no one in the world close to the level they have kept, the football has been breathtaking this season

Agreed, but they also do play easier opponents... The PL is easily the tougher league to be in.

Overall comparing how they've played in La Liga to how United have played in the PL, yes they've played the better football but if they played the same opponents through-out the year... Who knows?

Fact is, they shouldn't have got through to the final -- Chelsea were cheated. They did get through to the final and they outplayed us. No excuses there, but everyone could see United didn't turn up. But you still get idiots who don't know football saying, "Barcelona beat you, easily the best team in the world..."

Utd didn't turn up.... for the biggest game of the year for them?

I think they were stung by the ease with which Barcelona pulled them to pieces for the first goal and got nervous, from then on in Barcelona knew they could hit you on the break. Utd didn't play their normal game, Ronaldo tried to do it all on his own, believing all the hype about himself, shot when he should have passed on so many occasions. You were up against a makeshift and aging defence and never stretched them by passing the ball.

very true yeah, I could pick maybe 2 teams that would be "at" premiership standard (Real and Valencia) they rest I am not so sure so yeah the league is easier

agree with the semi final thing aswell but saying that, I think it was the "better" final, Man U and Chelsea final may not have been as good as the Barca Man U game IMO

In my opinion, Ronaldo wanted to stamp himself on the game so much as he thinks he may be on his way out of Old Trafford. He seemed to want to win the game on his own and all he ended up proving to potential purchasers was that he makes bad decisions.

UTD as a whole were stopped from playing by Barcelona. Closed down so quickly that Man U kept making mistakes. Was it a case of they "didn't turn up" or were they "not allowed to play". My money is on the second.
