Hi all thought id introduce myself im rob 32 from sunny stockport in manchester.

Im a total novice to photography and im well into my motorsport after spending last year at various events drifting f1 banger racing etc etc taking pics of half a car or grass when ive totally missed them with my cheap point and shoot i thought it was about time i invested in a dslr

Ive invested in a sony A230 with 2 lenses a 18-55mm and a 55-200mm and have spent the last 3 weekends at oulton park with my little lad some of you may have seen a 3 year old walking round the pits with it snapping away :lol:

anyhow off to have a nosey around :thumbs:

hi wontolla its not long since had a major refurb the plaza ive not been in since its been finished tbh but it looks nice from when i saw it on the local news lol

hi steve not far away atall a junction or 2 im in brinnington :shrug: someone has to live here dont hold it against me :lol:

d ninety ive been there the last 3 weekends with a couple of mates and going again probably saturday after next for the bikes may even pop up on a wednesday :lol:
 
Good to see your young'un with the sony... I've been contemplating getting a 2nd body for my 5 year old lad to use ;)

yes thats my mates he has in that pic lol he has his own little point and shoot digital camera for now hes only 3 1/2 but i do let him use mine he's often wondering around the pits and track with it clicking away :lol:
