I will be staying over in Manchester for a few days soon and looking for some good striking architectural locations where I could convert the images to B+W for printing.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Salford Quays is the first place that springs to mind.

Thanks Eddie, I did read some time ago (I think) that the Library has a good staircase and internal architecture

Top deck of the carpark at the MEN is pretty good for a city scape, was better when the wheel was there. Urbis has some nice shapes from certain angles while your out that way. Not seen anything of the new co-op boat styled building which is new again out that way. The external shot of the Printworks from the triangle, the buildings of the triangle would be great without all the signs.

I don't normally venture in to the rest of the city other than driving.

Thanks, Guys, appreciate all those suggestions....now for my map....sorry for the late reply
Dave

Thanks for the update, Mike
Can you take pictures in the Town Hall

For newish architecture and lots of glass there's spinning fields off deansgate, and over the river and the Civil Justice Centre. While on Deansgate, the John Rylands Libary allows photography.
