Has anyone been? I have been looking on their website but it doesnt say if the viewing platforms are wheelchair friendly, and there is no contact number for them.

The largest viewing area is wheelchair friendly. The other two are accessed by steps.

I've been a few times with my kids when heading up to Bolton/chorley area to visit relatives.

Also, an OK cafe for a hotdog/burger/coffee.

Can't remember admission cost, usually about £5 for all of us if memory serves.

There is a bus service to but I have no idea of the details.

Thanks Russ I have just seen their prices, £12 for over 3 hour stay in the carpark :gag:

Scandalous isn't it. They changed the pricing structure a couple of months ago

Well worth the money. All day for £12, compare that to a visit to the cinema or a 90 min football match.

Up to 2 hrs. for £6 is a bit rich but there are better facilities now. The car park still consists of mainly gravel but isn't not too bad.

Still worth a visit, I went a few weeks ago and spent 2 hrs in the sunshine enjoying plane spotting, something I never did do as a kid and I've lived near the airport for nearly 50 years :D
