Hi folks

A few weeks ago I managed to get some tickets to take my oldest boy to the Man U match against stoke at Old Trafford.

We were right on the front row behind the photographers, and the goal mouth, great place for photos. Unfortunately I wasn't sure if we could take a camera in so we only took his small point and shoot and the pics as you can imagine are really poor.

So I'm wondering was anyone else at the match? Do you have any pics from the match that Colum can print off and put in his memory box?

Thanks

Allan

they are nazis at football games for people with decent cameras :(

You can take SLRs to Old Trafford. Last time I went , my bro has a season ticket, there was a dude sitting in front of me with a Canon and some zoom lens, was huge. Surprised he didn't pee anyone off waving it around. But the fans generally frown upon it.

Last time i went to OT with my Canon 300D the steward on the gate told me that if i get caught using it then i'll be dragged out of the ground.

Most football grounds ban 'professional' cameras. As they employ pro togs to take pictures and sell as merchandise.

If you get caught with a camera like a dslr in any football ground in the UK at any level.. the stewards can eject you.. so take in at your own risk..

its all daft imho i mean it stops people enjoying the game and getting a keepsake.... plit ** cam and lens and sneak it in rar rar fight thwe powah! lol

I think they're probably more lenient at Old Trafford given the number of tourists who go to the matches. Not a dig at Manchester United fans btw. :D But aye, take at your own risk.

There doesn't seem to be quite the same of amount of hassle at non league grounds. Soemtimes I've been mistaken for a press photograher!
