Why does having a tattoo make me any different from you captainpenquin? If you met me, you would'nt even know I had them as they are coverable.

I think your living behind the times, you should have been born many many years ago.
As someone into photography (a form of art) can you not see that people would like another form of art on their body?
 
Holy crap - when I saw the topic title I figured he'd just have the title "D3x" in some kind of logo on this upper arm or something. The actual result was NOT what I expected... crazy!

Ok I apologise if that was over the top its just that I have always thought tatoos are disfiguring and cannot see any reason for having them but thats probably just me being a mid 50's boring old F**T,and its not just tatoos I am the same with body piercings but again thats just the way I am so if I offended anybody my sincere apologies and feel free to make trainspotter jokes

That is your opinion but maybe you should dial it down a bit, or atleast get with the times, people do far more crazy things with there body then piercing and inking, Suicide bombers now that is something I don't get why blow your self up ??

Piercing and inking I get its a way of expressing yourself :) same as photography etc..

How dare you!
Some very nice people are suicide bombers - in fact the majority are happy, well-adjusted individuals who, through no fault of their own just happen to explode in populated areas, killing and maiming members of the security forces and innocent passers-by...

Why only last Thursday we were saying how nice it was of the suicide bomber who was coming to see us, accidentally exploding himself five minutes early, thus only killing himself and missing our patrol-base entirely...

Some of them do care...


(It's true - Sangin: 09.30 Thursday, 150m from our Patrol-Base. No photos - sorry...)
 
Even if you did have photo's they probably be blown out.

I love this "argument", it's probably the most common "reason" for disliking tattoo's. If I cared what I looked like at 70, I'd have to shoot myself at 50 because I'd be pretty wrinkly and not at all sexy anyway, nevermind the fact that I'd be more worried about keeping my nappy on.
