Mamiya C330 WLF Studs?

It's for clipping a 'sports viewfinder' frame to; you fold the middle bit of that front panel down to cover the screen, slide the holes of the 'sports viewfinder' frame onto the pegs, and frame your shot directly (without using the screen) by looking through the hole in the back plate and the clip on frame at the front. Of course, the downside is that you can't focus using an 'open sight' type frame finder. So it's probably an accessory you'll never need or use, so no need to risk scratching the paint on your camera trying to slide one on!

Thank you Mr Badger. I get it. I had a 645 WLF with the sports finder frame so the device you describe I can see. And no I wouldn't use one.

Actually, thinking about it, the middle folded down should give you the classic 6x6 format with standard lens, so this was probably for individual sports finder frames to suit some of the different focal length lenses you could get for the C330. Had to scratch my head a bit to come up with the likely reason they'd need to do that before adding this, then remembered that the C330 came with the option to fit different lenses!
