Morning guys, just bagged a Mamiya 645 Af with back and std (80mm) lens off fleabay, thought it would make a good stablemate to my 1D and 5D (mk2 and classic respectively), awaiting delivery now, quite excited. I already own an old 645 (Mamiya) and a couple of lenses for it so may use those in non-AF mode on the new lump, if the new one works well I may sell the old one.

Will be shooting B&W, probably home dev that if I can make the time.
Colour in both tranny and negs, not sure what film to buy, I'm expecting to use it for landscape, architectural and maybe portraits, although in portrait I wont be looking for ultimate sharpness but nice tonality.

I'll probably scan whatever I shoot and then pp in Elements (although hopefully it wont need much) any recomendations as to which film to get as I havent bought any 120 for ages and not sure what's still available?

You can't really go wrong with Portra 400..

For Black and white - Fuji Acros 100, Adox CHS 25 and Ilford Pan F+ will do the job for Landscapes, architectural and portrait

Colour wise, Kodak Ektar 100 and Fuji Velvia 50 work for landscapes, Kodak Portra 160 or 400 have good press for portraits :)

I have an AFDII and its a cracking camera. The film recomendations you have had are great, just leran what works for you and shoot lots of film :D
