Malware 'heads-up'.

A new one on me, though it may not be for you.
This morning I had an email allegedly from my server ...

From: jpaoscanner@mydomain.co.uk
To: me@mydomain.co.uk
Subject: Message from local network scanner
Attachment: filtered_Scann16011310150.doc.txt

Immediate thought was 'I wonder what's up with the server?' but then the 'Never open an unknown attachment' mode kicked in so did a check.
Looks like it's a know banking trojan!

You may already be aware and alert, but if I paused for a moment you might too so hopefully forearmed is forwarned as my old mum used to say

Been getting a lot of these lately, oddly all the address prefixes mention wex in the address....

I've had loads from wex as well. However the addresses have been spoofed so I wouldn't read to much into it. It's the usual social engineering attacks that have been going on for a very long time.

Always good to be remembered about it though.
