Making the jump to studio lights

I'm thinking about getting a lencarta ultrapro 600 for studio portraits etc.

One thing I'm struggling with is what battery would be compatible with these lights if I wanted to take them outside? I've seen a few batteries but they're incredibly expensive which I'm guessing are for pro shoots lasting several hours. I'm only an amateur and only need a battery that would last an hour or so of shooting.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

As far as I know there isn't a cheap safe option for using indoor studio flash on location.

Something like a Innovatronix (http://www.theflashcentre.com/innovatronix-explorer-c413.html) will do the job, but the total cost of that plus a Ultrapro 600 isn't that much less than a proper portable flash.

Thanks. Might go for the ultrapro but maybe the 300 and stick to my speedlights outside then.

Lencarta does the Safari Li-ion portable flash, which runs off a battery.Might be worth a look.

yer, a little expensive for me atm. I ordered an ultrapro 600 head and in time will order myself a vagabond mini but will get to know this head inside out first with plenty of indoor shoots.
