ah ok cool
is the sb-26 still a good all round flash for general use on camera?

Ive found quite a few around the £50 mark on ebay so i might buy a couple to use as well as a set of those chinese triggers then.

ah ok, so the sb-26 could be triggered by the d300 flash?

not sure it would be needed though as ill get a set of wireless triggers.

If using triggers then any of them will do the job, because David Hobby blogged about the 24 and 26, the prices up were pushed up, but the Sb25 is often overlooked and therefore cheaper :naughty:

not many of those about though
the ones on ebay seem to be a bit steep when compared to the price of the sb-28

graham do you still sell the triggers?
if so can i pm you with some bits im after?

Drop me a pm and I'll sort something out for you

In the linked pic, the stairs are either blue (seems unlikely) or they've been made blue in PP (very easily done). That's my guess.

Great effect, either way

Just won the sb-28 for £49 on feabay :)
The sb-26 units seem to be fetching i high price, i guess everyone is after all these old flashes now!

easier/better to use the wireless triggers though isnt it?

It's good to have the option of both though. It doesn't matter so much if you're only using one flash, but for a 2,3 or 4 flash set up having a couple of opticall triggered flashes means you only need one or two receivers, which is handy if you're using Pocket Wizards...
