My latest Vector image. I'm thinking it would make an interesting canvas.

What do you think?

BTW what is it?
A close-up crop of a zebra's head. You can just make out the eye.

It's a nice piece of work and would make for a great canvas, providing the canvas material was suitably white and bright.

Baz; any chance of doing a side-by-side comparison with the original?

Very nicely done. I reckon it'd look good on canvas as long as the longest side was at least 3 foot.

Nice job Baz, although I have to say, I preferred your watch face:)

If I'm honest I think the Zebra vector is a bit too simple to look good as a canvas. Just too black and white with nothing in between if you see what I mean. Just my opinion of course :)

Just out of curiosity, is it your picture, or one you found in a newspaper?

Am I right in thinking that as a vector drawing this should scale up to any size with no real loss in definition? Not saying all vector drawings will work at all sizes though :)

Yup, that's exactly how vector graphics work

Must be a newspaper photo scanned in and then vectored, either by hand or by some piece of software.

Photographed, then the image, (photo), is imported into AutoCAD and traced manually. Imported into Illustrator, filled and assembled.

A few minor adjustments, final image:
