Right how do you do yours?

I have tried and each time I fail. I have 200 plus email address I want to email with updates each week or so.

So far I created a mailing list using my the facillity that came with my hosting but that has a maximum of 50 addresses. Then i tried creating a group in my webmail account and that failed due to too many addresses, then tried it with email program (windows live mail) which alos failed due to too many addresses.

Please help

Have you not got outlook on your computer?
I regularly send emails out to over 400 employees at my place of work with no problems using outlook.

I think the fact that you are trying to use a webmail facility and windows live might be the issue. When we want to send out a mailshot at work we use a mailing software as we are emailing approx 4000 addresses, will find out what this is for you tomorrow.
 
phplist is fairly sweet, it requires mysql and php support. but this does depend on your host and if it allows you to install mysql db's.

1 of my clients uses this to email around 3k mail shots a month. works a treat, even has stats of bounced, invalid emails, how many unsubcribed etc.
 
even doing it through outlook you are still using your isp to send bulk emails and they do have strict rules on mail lists.. all of em ...
 
As above, my ISP Orange broadband only allow 20 recipients through their SMTP server.

Got round it by using my Mobile Me account :thumbs:
