Hi folks I wonder if anybody could help me please..
I'm visually impaired and unable to see the AF points through the viewfinder. I tend to shoot in auto or through the LCD screen using an LCD magnifier. Would anyone know if there is similar tech available but for the eyepiece, as it would really help me & change the way I shoot.
Thanks in advance, Will

Canon magnifier S maybe?
Or angle finder C if you can live with a right angle adapter?

yeah there are some on amazon and ebay, there seems to be 2 types one has quiet a standoff, other is much more compact

Have a look at a Hoodman Loupe. They attach to the tripod mount for the more expensive ones, or just use a strap to hold it in place and covers the rear screen and magnifies it. Ideally used for videos to make it like a video camera but can also be used for stills too.

Something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hoodman-H-LPP3-HoodLoupe-Professional-3-Inch/dp/B001N0KEWU but for your specific camera screen size and make.

Good find, although I'll need to check if this will fit my Canon Eos 550d. I can't see it listed in the blurb..

Cheers Stoo ! I purchased a cheap LCD magnifier off ebay recently. I'm after some kit for the eyepiece itself. I'm hoping there's something out there that may be strong enough in magnification so I can then track moving subjects.

theres lots of same type of thing if u get the search string right, id probably go with the more compact one, but the other type maybe better, i dont know :/. the standoff with either one will be more comfortable rather than mushing your face into the back of camera like we normaly do :)
a55 taught me that...
