Maglite can be used for security as well ,lol. The 4D one is huge

You ever tried the fenix torchs? the light on them is fantastic, ive used them to light paint in slate mines, which are as dark as it gets

Not as big as the 6 cell . I can't get an led upgrade for it though . It only comes for the 4 cell .

You lose the ability to focus lens, as the screwed down end cap holds it all in place but it works great and also... this is a beast!

I have been watching this thread as I have a 4D maglite with the standard bulb. My brother got one of these.

I compared it to my mums 6d maglite with led upgrade and the 7dayshop one was a good bit brighter, also had a great zoom on it, can down to a point or else out into a huge spot.. I ordered mine last night..

I reckon that it is hard to beat the ultrafire T6 led torches and they are cheap as chips too I have 3 of them and have never had any problems lighting mines and stuff.

Time to hunt down my 4D maglite I think, because one of these would work a treat!
Currently walking the hound with a Lenser P7 LED thing but much prefer the heft of a real torch.
