Wow. You have been busy catching up. I love the bear picture you did for the competition and the yellow flowers with the deep red leaves is very good ( great colours and nicely focused. Is it berberis?

Superb Nattelie! As Sarah says - had a look through and I cant believe how much your macro (and all) shots are improving throughout the 365!

OK...so I'm really lagging behind on the 52, but hey ho...

Here's 9 more...

This is a moth and although I don't like moths I thought this one was really pretty...

Sort of a rare sight for me these days, the ice cream van and a queue - brings back memories!

I sort of like paths...

Part of FIL's Fathers day present. There is, of course, a story... someone he knew stole some meat from an abatour that they were working at, his son who was 5 or 6 at the time, went upto him in a policemans hat and exclaimed "you been pinching meat, lad?" So it's been a family story ever since...

I like paths too Nattellie and that photo you have taken is great. It leads you through the picture nicely to that bright spot at the end of the path and you wonder where it would be going from there.Nice natural colour and light. The third of your sunset shots is my favourite because of the silhouette of the tree against the bright sunset colour. You are catching up.

Just been having a look back through some of these Nattelie, some lovely shots. Love the strawberries and the Nikon guy and of course the bridge shots are great and really make a cityscape.

Some great photos, especially the flowers, what do you use as a background for those?

The moth photo works well, I've attempted to photography moths several times but not had much luck. I did have some OK results using extension tubes and my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 lens, but decided to stop because I didn't feel comfortable hanging a 1.3kg lens from some £6 thin metal tubes!

Just catching up Mynxy
I really love the way you "handled" the flowers in post 332.
Especially #4 & #5

Thanks. The background was just material, the black one was velvet then PP'd to be smooth and the white one was a white sheet. I also use paper or card with some. Dead easy.

Why don't you get some magnifier tube thingys? They're like filters. I use them and TBH I think they're great. That moth picture was cropped though - had the wrong lens on and it was a grabbit opertunity

Crap day photo-wise today. Couldn't focus, even AF for toffee. Took 34 pics and only 7 were in focus. Disgusting. Out of those 7 pics only 2 were half decent and they're still pretty naff, so mojo was on holiday today I reckon...

Wow… how things can run away from you…
I haven’t been as well as I could be lately, so I’ve fallen behind with my 365. However, along the way, I’ve got some great shots!

So, I’ve decided…time to give up the whole 365, post a photo every day and I'm probably going to turn in on the 52. I’m going to post as I go along, sometimes several images, sometimes just one to keep the record of 2010 going, but I’m not going to be as strict with myself.

Anyway…here’s some of the rest of the images from July.

Welcome back Nat. Hope you're feeling better.

I love the last garden shot too. Normally I hate that white vignetting, but I think it really works with this one.
Lovely composition, beautiful colours and altogether a really nice dreamy atmosphere to it.

That Ruino shot is interesting too. I bet there's a story behind it, but I can't really read the writing on it in this version.

Nat, quality not quantity is the key

Some nice images being posted. It is very difficult to keep a 365 going and lots have fallen away.
