Yes
I just happened to switch it on for the last ten minutes or so last night (unfortunately only caught the last bit of Paloma Faith under the giant shower).
But crikey didnt Madonna take a fall when they tried to pull her long cape/train thing off. Ass over tit down about 3 steps and on her back. Was surprised she got up and carried on to be honest.
At her age she needs to look after herself.

I'm tempted to try and find a clip as its all everyone is going on about on fb.. I've disconnected the sky box whilst decorating living room so any snippets being shown on tv I can't see

Madonna just proving it's easy to pull an old bird..

Copyright laws mean video clips of Madonna's fall at the Brits tonight are being pulled left right & centre from social media sites. Does anyone know if she has a Tumblr account?

Last night, Ed Sheeran had to sing to Madonna backstage to calm her down.
"When your legs don't work like they use to before.."

Here's a gif of it........

Apparently the 2016 Brit Awards is going to be sponsored by Stannah.........

I feel sorry, for the poor person, that's going to feel her wraith over this. Can't blame, the dancers on stage, as they obviously had to pull the cape but if I worked in wardrobe, I'd be very afraid at the minute

At least it proved she was singing live :D

Thank the pantheon it was THAT sort of wardrobe malfunction rather than the Janet Jackson type!!!

On the original clip you can see her struggling to undo the string around her neck. Presumably she hadn't managed it by the time the cape was tugged.

Like I say, if it had been Amey Winehouse she would still be trying to get up long after they had all gone home.

Or a premier league footballer

There is a lot of suspicion this was all staged and her flop of a single has since suddenly started to sell well. If you listen to the lyrics after she continues, something about picking yourself up and carrying on, it does make you wonder, seems too much of a coincidence to me.

Sounds like codswallop to me. she could so easily have hurt herself badly in that fall, too stupid a risk.

They do happen.

Listen to the lyrics, some coincidence if it wasn't staged.
Gotta admit it does look a little staged (sorry about the pun) to me,
Not withstanding the lyrics,
the dancers are on the floor posing right next to her as hits the floor,
and certainly don't look concerned.

You know, having watched it again, I suspect you're right.
If it were a genuine accident, surely "officials" would have been on her like a rash.
And as you say...sod all concern or action from the dancers either.
Hmmmmm......:cautious:

Dancers etc are all trained to ignore stuff going wrong in order that the audience may miss it I suspect. Not that the audienced'd miss her falling over but the dancers probably just carried on with the routine out of years of training. The show must go on.

I agree with what you are saying, but also as Ruth mentioned, someone of her "calibre" would have had security people all over her
like a rash, at ground level & "vulnerable"

She was only off her feet for 8 seconds!

Any security would have been watching for people attempting to get on stage not watching the routine, even then unless they were briefed on the dance they wouldn't know if it had gone wrong.

If it was staged she's a better stunt woman than a singer :D
