Apparently according to the beeb its the biggest night of alcohol sales all year. Anyone here helping to increase those figures :)

For me its a bottle of grouse and catchup on masterchef professionals. (not the whole bottle you understand)

I must be getting old :(

I have tea, frazzles and Xmas wrapping going on here.
 
No difference here these days, just the usual quantity. I used to love mad Friday & finishing day though, when I was younger. :beer: :woot: :wacky: :sleep: :hungover:
 
Tapas, red wine and the last episode of Cuffs.
When the Mrs falls asleep I'll catch up with masterchef.

I drink very little these days,had a small whiskey the other night (purely medicinal of course),can't remember when I had an alchoholic drink before that,probably end of October at the local show dinner.I drank my quota in my youth.
They are calling it "black eye Friday" up here cos you can't have a drink without a punchup.
 
I'm sitting at home waiting to be a taxi for the wife who's adding to the mad Friday figures :(
 
I've got a 10 pack of Bud here.
Had one so far, and if I'm lucky I'll stay awake long enough to have 2 :)
 
I shall be adding the same amount to the Mad Friday figures as I do on any day of the year in fact for many, many years, a big fat zero.

I'm having a proper wild child night, just watched DIY SOS and now on text Santa.
Proper feel good TV, but I keep getting dust in my eye tho:)

Same here to be honest although that'll change on the 28th, no more sky no more bill! Lol

Is that financial or a personal choice? I keep threatening to do away with sports in protest at supporting stupid wages for football players, but I like my footy so I need it to annoy me a bit more :D

Logic lol!
Mines a bit of both.. I cancelled 2 years ago and the kids adjusted fine, my daughter is 16 so in her room mostly, it was just the youngest I was unsure of, but sky offered me a full year half price plus a better package to come back, that's now finished and we didn't really miss it so I thought why not cancel again.
Netflix and Amazon have plenty plus I'm a huge reader so then the financial gain is a plus :D

There isn't a great deal of choice for me, we don't get virgin or anything else here.
I guess it depends who watches it and how big of a loss.
As I said my girl is 16 so twitter etc is her priority and youngest is nearly 8 so he was the main one, we coped fine with Netflix series, plus the boy watches minecraft stuff. I don't watch all that much normal TV, I like series and stuff.

For me I want Eurosport in HD and to be able to watch Game of Thrones in full HD. So, I thought of having Freesat, the basic BT TV package (for Eurosport in HD) and Now TV to be able to see Game of Thrones in HD. Would be cheaper overall than Sky. BUT, I see that Now TV does not output in full HD, so not good enough!
 
I've got Virgin, but hate not getting Sky Atlantic. Biggest regret about leaving sky, Virgin told us it was basically a done deal and we would get it....... Still waiting

Ah yes so trickier for you, my TV is old and failing badly so no HD here, I had planned on getting the now tv entertainment for game of thrones etc

Cancel them all..get now tv Netflix etc, you then have a cheaper set up but still plenty to watch....have you looked at now tv sports?

Trust me you wouldn't want to watch my TV. Black smudges on the screen and the colour womt hold, you adjust it to correct viewing and it stays ok for 20 mins half hour then the screen goes black then full on nuclear bright reds lol
