Macro recommendations

The standard macro question springs to mind.....what is going to be your main subject type? The answer to this will have a big bearing on the ideal focal length range that you need to be looking at.

got a sigma 105mm from ebay for £150 and its brilliant, just need to get more spare time to actualy get out there and photograph things.
