If there isn't an aperture setting on the lens then.......... yes.
You may want to get a torch too... as setting the require f11 means you won't see much in the view finder.... usually
If it does have an aperture control on the lens, then set to the llowest f# to focus and turn back to f8-f16 before taking the shot...

How do you set the aperture on a lens where aperture is electronically controlled by the camera if you lose connection to the camera? I think the lens stays wide open in that case but please correct me if I m wrong![]()
