macro lens for nikon d5000

hi there can anyone recomend a good macro lens at a fair price

Sigma 105mm
Nikon 105mm
Sigma 60mm
Nikon 40mm
Nikon 85mm
Sigma 150mm

Plently out there, all as good as eachother really. Not all will autofocus though, but thats really an issue with macro.

What Tom's saying is 99.9% of the time manual focus used in macro.
lenses are a personal choice ,insects and flyer's (wasps bee's) I would go for
150 to give you a little space from subject.

Apologies for the thread resurrection but it's directly relevant.

I'm also looking for a macro lens for my D5000. I've read somewhere that as well as not autofocusing, some lenses might not allow auto-metering (is this called TTL metering?). How do I know if a lens will allow TTL metering?
