Macro lens advice

Hi guy's want to get into macro could you advise of a decent Nikon fit lens,dont think i can afford the Nikon 105 vr is the older type lens any good ?or should i look elsewhere budget up to £300. TIA Lee.

As ever I'd recommend the Sigma 105 EX DG. Don't know about the one you mention. The Siggy is well within your budget too

the sigma 105mm and 150mm are cracking lenses!

The 150 sigma is available ~£340 as a grey import if you could stretch to it. Been playing with one today and it's lovely
