Has anyone upgraded yet? If so, any feedback?

Just on with it now.

Just finished. At first sight it's just the same as before, though the icons are now rounded. But then, I don't really delve into the OS - just use a few applications such as mail, Safari, and Lightroom. Got to say though that it seems snappier. Lightroom, though it wasn't slow to begin with, certainly opens quicker.

thanks Stephen, this is reassuring

I've updated the laptop so far so good.

I haven’t done my laptop yet, but the iOS UI is truly horrible, like the glass effect is cool and all that but it makes a lot stuff hard to see. I think any element of technology that interacts with a human must put function over form, and this is very much the wrong way around, imo - which is a shame because it was one of Apple’s strengths.

Been trying to download for about 3 hours but keeps stopping, have a speed of 35mps not high but not a snails pace. Russ.

I'm waiting to do iOS. Normally upgrade quite quickly but the liquid glass stuff looks unreadable at times. Going to wait a few weeks I think.

Read a few reviews, looks like if your phone isn't 15 or later ... wait!

Updated mine and it has a different look, lot more light, have switched off widgets already. Have tried a few apps and they seem to work, so for the moment all OK.

As I said, I use my Mac mainly as a platform for just a few applications, and seldom use the twiddly bits. One thing i have noticed is that at last Lightroom has stopped the annoying habit of randomly swapping monitors when I'm not looking, despite all the supposedly correct settings which have been applied. So far it has stayed put.

So managed to download and installed but now my Wacom tablet will not be seen, downloaded and installed latest Wacom driver twice:headbang:
Tablet USB connected.
Russ.

I've been running the developer betas since they were first released, and then the public betas since the first one was released, and they've all been pretty solid. A few bugs in the early days but they've all disappeared.

As for the visual problems, people have been going into Safari's settings and turning off "Show colour in tab bar" because that was making tabs and the bookmark bar difficult to read on some pages. Also, in Settings, Accessibility, Display, turn on Reduce Transparency, which lessens the 'Liquid Glass" effect.

For everything else, there are some good videos on YouTube about changes that could cause problems.

The Mac Studio has been updated, and it seems to be working well.

I'm on the 13 Pro still and it updated just fine - runs very well indeed.
Good to hear.
I updated my Macbook Air and downloaded my DXO Photolab5 (2nd device) but it wouldn't activate.
It is not possible to activate the software on Sequoia ... there is an incompatibility with the activation and our server.
