Yes
I'm heading that way with work next week so want to incorporate a stop to try and have a go.

Not having been there before can anyone advise exact parking spots/ where to climb up? Some google map links to parking etc would be excellent!

Cheers
Chris

Cad West is fairly easy to walk from the car park - 15mins - just uphill...:(

I agree with Cad West was easy to find and not far up hill really. Look up Corris on google maps and follow the A487 North the car park is marked post code LL40 2RD takes you a little North of the car park as well.

From the stile in the car park follow the path to the right until path bends to the left and goes up more steeply with a wire fence on your right follow this up to another stile. This is where I parked myself for the day along with a few others. Cad East might be better for light in the morning but on the day I went the planes only showed their underside to that side. I had no problem getting good cockpit shots from Cad West. I used my 70-300 on a 1Dmkiv (x1.3 crop) and it was plenty. Walking boots or sturdy grippy shoes are best due to the rocky path.

Enjoy and I hope you have a few come through, it is a great place to visit you might even get a wave from passing planes.

Try looking here: www.fox2.co.uk. Lots of information in the "Wales" section of "Locations & Get Togethers", which I believe non-members can access.

Good luck!

Never had the reg email or heard anything back from admin there

Went for a few hours this afternoon, saw a Tornado come through at a leisurely pace and a couple of distant views of of a pair of Hawks heading elsewhere. Missed a Hercules and a few Hawks in the morning.
Failed miserably trying to catch the Tornado!

Just posted some of the results in "Transport" if you are interested.
Cheers
